HTC HD2

By Joseph Hanlon

HTC HD2 review: HTC's HD2 reads like a perfectly balanced mathematical equation of geeky desire, and when compared to last year's Touch HD, this new model has pluses next to every spec.

HTC intends to ship the HD2 in the UK from 19 October, and while we'd like to think this means we'd see it down under soon after, the delay of the HTC Hero release locally suggests we might not see the HD2 for a few months yet. HTC's HD2 reads like...

HTC HD2, we review the successor to HTC's Touch HD

By Jonathan Bray

It's big and beautiful, but is it an iPhone-killer? We review HTC's new HD2 smartphone

The danger in including such a big showstopper is that other aspects of design could have been neglected. This isn't the case here. The HD2's chassis is super slim, measuring just 12.7mm from front to back, and the screen surround is as narrow as can ...

Superb design and build quality, fantastic capacitive display with multitouch, HTC Sense UI, 3.5mm headphone jack, excellent performance, micro-USB port

Protruding camera lens, buttons lack tactility, Windows UI still rears its ugly head on occasion, included Twitter app is limited, Windows Marketplace lacks variety of apps compared with alternatives

The HTC Touch HD2 also includes multitouch, which works in the Web browser, Google Maps and photo applications. You can pinch to zoom in and out, double tap to hone in on a particular area and drag you finger around to move. It's not as slick or ...
