The 23-inch, 1080p W2353V is a handsome beast that represents great value for money. Offering good image quality, touch-sensitive controls and useful software that lets you set up and calibrate the monitor from your Windows desktop, the W2353V is ...

Beautiful glossy black finish ; multiple inputs ; good image quality ; useful Forte Manager software ; HDMI input

No speakers ; no USB ports ; no height-adjustment option

The LG W2353V's decent array of inputs, excellent styling and good pictures mean this monitor represents great value for money. The Forte Manager software is a useful bonus, making the display easy to set up and use

Review: LG Electronics W2353V-PF LCD

By Kalpana Ettenson (macworld.com)Read the full review

This well-rounded display showed nice image quality in our tests, and includes a handy auto-adjust button that controls brightness in dim conditions.

Showed sharp text and nice colors

Touch-sensitive controls are confusing

The display includes an AutoBright function and a sensor that can detect ambient light and adjust the screen brightness accordingly. Using the control worked fairly well, though in some circumstances (such as a room that was just somewhat dim) it was ...

LG W2353V-PF

By Michael Brown (maximumpc.com)Read the full review

LG insists its W2353V-PF is based on a true eight-bit TN panel, a feature that would make it unique in this roundup, so we were surprised at how poorly the display performed with several of our DisplayMate benchmarks. We were also irritated by the ...

Two-millisecond gray-to-gray response time

Inconsistent color uniformity; peak whites appeared with pinkish tinge; no digital video cable included

LG's W2353V-PF was the only monitor in this roundup that didin't come with a digital video cable (neither DVI nor HDMI)

Great Monitors, except

By Justin (newegg.com)Read the full user review

Great price, newegg ships super fast! No dead pixels, I'll keep these for a few years until 3D monitors come out

Great price, lightweight, fast response time, HDMI input, vga and DVI inputs

No DVI cable or HDMI cable - Red LED lights on touch screen controls (clashes if you have blue LED lights in your tower/gaming rig). Curved monitor shaped makes it difficult/impossible to seamlessley place these next to a second monitor without a gap betw...

Gamers Dream, at a Realistic Price

Glow of the red power on/off light may be distracting but can be turned off in menu, so not a con. As with any glossy surface, the frame is a dust/fingerprint magnet, but it comes with a cloth, and you should be keeping it clean anyway. I hooked up my rec...

Full 1080p resolution and a low response time make for excellent gaming. Got it to replace an older model, touch buttons were a fun and interesting surprise. After the initial shock, the touch buttons were very easy to learn, just like PS3. Love the light...

Stand is hard to adjust (Stiff) which makes changing this monitors angle on the fly a pain. No DVI cable. Doesn't make me a sandwich ;

Great Monitor

By Biscuit (newegg.com)Read the full user review

I bought this to replace a Samsung monitor which had a faulty power supply. I love my Samsumng monitor enough to get it fixed. But the LG is so nice, I won't be going back to the old one. Definitely a very worthy replacement

This monitor is large and very bright. Beautiful, accurate colors, no ghosting and not a single dead pixel. The touch menu is a little awkward, but nothing to be concerned about. I play a lot of video games and all games have looked fantastic. Again, no g...

It doesn't come with a DVI cable, which is irritating. Thankfully, I already had one from my old monitor ; I noticed some errors in the English written in the manual and the little booklet it comes with, but nothing that can't be understood
