A finely crafted action experience that fully showcases the PS3's immense capabilities!

God of War 3 is more than an action game: it's the conclusion to a commercially successful and critically acclaimed series that acts as the ‘face' of Sony's entire gaming brand; what Master Chief is to Microsoft and Mario is to Nintendo, Kratos is to...

A great action experience, with plenty of thrills and memorable moments; improves upon the franchise formula in almost every tangible way.

It doesn't bring the story to a satisfying conclusion and the attempts to make sense of Kratos' journey ultimately fall flat.

God of War III

Exhilarating combat and an imposing sense of scale provide a fitting end to Kratos' saga.

Satisfying combat with a good variety of useful weapons ; Outstanding visuals, both artistically and technically ; Impressive sense of scale ; Challenging and diverse boss battles ; Amazing resolution to the trilogy

Not as diverse as God of War II ; Story doesn't pick up until near the end

God of War 3

Remember that movie The Gods Must Be Crazy? That was comedy gold. It has nothing to do with God of War 3 but I thought I'd mention it whilst I still had the thought in my head.

Visuals, battles, puzzles and almost everything else. One of the best opening sequences in gaming ever

Some boss fights missing their grand scale.Double jumping fail

I think it’s time to take a hiatus from top tier titles as God of War 3 is coming in as my current favourite this year. I’ll probably start reviewing smaller titles for me to get my negative nancy back on. I can’t fault God of War 3 as its very minor...

God of War 3 Playstation 3 Review

God of War 3 is the last installment in the God of War trilogy that started on the Playstation 2 back in 2005. The anticipation for God of War 3 has been massive and has been fueled by probably too much footage and so called “spoilers” being released...

Graphics are outstanding ; It is just so much fun hacking and slashing through all the enemy bodies ; The QTE's are so detailed and brutal, they are awesome ; The game provides a good challenge on all but the easy difficulty

Small graphical glitches here and there ; Some puzzles are boring and break up the fast paced action to the detriment of the game ; The hype had me expecting more

Whilst God of War 3 certainly has lived up to its lofty expectations, especially for fans of the series, I have to admit that I was left feeling slightly disappointed. Whether it was the fact that this was my most anticipated game on any system in...

God of War III Review

The final chapter of Kratos's journey is an epic one. Do you have what it takes to be a God?

God of War III is the biggest of the bunch. The experience is not overly original but the aspects have been expanded on to offer a memorable yet larger experience. Combat is a little more refined, enemies are more aggressive, boss battles are bigger,...

God of War III review

You know a game has asserted itself as top of its genre when any other game that uses similar mechanics is released and finds itself slapped with a X-clone label. The God of War series is one of those games. The start of 2010 saw three similar titles...

Revenge never looked so sweet, and it has never, ever, been as bloody the tale of Kratos bringing a whole world of pain unto the Greek gods.

God of War III

GOD OF WAAAAAAR 3!!! Okay, it's hard to do a Kratos interpretation with text and I'm sure quite a few gamers got excited as I did, when they heard that God of War III was finally being released and even better, it would be pure unadulterated PS3 fun....
