HTC Vive review: Yes, this is the best VR experience, if you've got the space

I realize I'm not sure where I am, literally speaking.

The HTC Vive offers a flat-out amazing virtual reality experience with sharp visuals, great motion controls and full-room sensing to walk around in virtual space. Vive hardware can help indicate where your walls are, and an in-helmet camera can be used...

It requires a high-end PC to run. Long wires and lots of equipment take time and space to set up. Steam VR offers a lot of software but it isn't always beginner-friendly

Vive is the best virtual-reality experience you can have right now, thanks to its motion controls and room-scale tracking. It's the closest thing to having a holodeck in your home.

HTC Vive's coolest new VR feature is an all-seeing eye: Hands-on with the Vive Pre

Virtual reality (VR) is the next big step in consumer computing, and it's finally here. The HTC Vive is one of the first high-end headsets that you can buy right now, and it's designed to put your entire body into a digital realm (after taking an arm...

Review: HTC Vive - don't just play games; touch them, be surrounded by them, live them

It's been just a over week since Oculus Rift arrived but we already have a clash of the VR titans on our hands.

It asks more of you than Oculus does, but Vive also rewards you with an even more immersive, transformative VR experience.

Review: the HTC Vive is incomparable

Undoubtedly the best VR headset you can currently buy, but know its limits before you rush in

If you have that much spare capital floating around, and you’re curious about VR, there’s much to love. After all, it’s black magic in a box you strap to your head. As a way to amaze friends, family, or if you just want to show visitors to your office...
