Need for Speed: Most Wanted Review

The fundamental difference between the sub-genres within racing games is best explained with a culinary metaphor. If racing sims are the caviar of the genre, arcade racers are more like burgers. Simulations work well on their own, much like the...

A Fitting Reboot EA's much vaunted Autolog feature sees a tighter integration this time around. It makes a jump from a passive menu-based system to being actively intertwined into the game world and manifests itself through seamless notifications...

Need for Speed: Most Wanted review

In the long and variable history of Need for Speed, 2005's Most Wanted has to be up there as one of our favourites. Now a reboot has brought it back to consoles and, for the first time, to iOS and Android as well

Difficulty spikes aside, Most Wanted is a brilliantly executed mobile racing game that will have you hooked for hours

The NFS franchise is back but is this release a gamer's most wanted?

Outstanding online multiplayer ; Autolog always provides a new challenge ; Cars sound satisfying

Some graphical issues ; Tedious single player ; Repetitive soundtrack

The basic gameplay in Need for Speed: Most Wanted is simple, but fun and satisfying in equal measure. Don’t get us wrong, this is obviously a recipe for success, but Most Wanted’s single player could be so much better.

Not many developers have been too hot on Vita development but there is nothing to fear because Criterion has your back! It's a safe assumption

Criterion has proved themselves as the first developer to really figure out the Vita and what can be done with it. Need for Speed Most Wanted is a must have for any Vita owner or any fan of racing games. The single player and multiplayer are both...

Need for Speed: Most Wanted Review

Sitting behind the wheel of just about any of Fairhaven's numerous real life cars is an exhilarating experience, but the real joy in Need for Speed: Most Wanted rests in vehicle discovery, the connected content, and the get-to-business attitude of this...

Great open-world city to explore ; Intense, fun gameplay ; Always focused on driving without the fluff

Mediocre police pursuits ; Limited events for each car ; Some confusion for online play

Need for Speed: Most Wanted begs you to play it, to explore Fairhaven, to take your skills online, and to become the best racer in this open-world setting. It's a perfect addition to the franchise and keeps you strictly focused on driving and competing.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted review: Burnout, baby

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is Criterion's second crack at the Need for Speed series, EA's biggest racing brand. Unlike 2010's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Criterion's first shot at the series, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a game very much rooted in...

Need For Speed Most Wanted

LydiaInsane Chews down on the latest handheld incarnations of the Need for Speed Franchise. Though not all meat is good meat, and it seems things may be a little off.

Time may have come and gone for game developers to sit down and design a game that suits a type of console. As it is clear with NFS:MW, the suit does not fit.
