Grab your stakes and holy water and strap in for a lengthy ride as Nat sets out to put an end to Dracula for good! With yet another beloved Nintendo franchise getting a reboot here how does it fare in a new world of modern games?

Graphically beautiful, soundtrack absolutely phenomenal ; Fantastic final twist ; Very long game, which is a welcome change

Gameplay gets generic and repetitive ; Story is a tad weak outside of the first hour and final ten minutes ; Misleading title – this is in no way a Castlevania game

In the end, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a genuinely good game well worth your time. In terms of bang for your buck, this game has a depth of content usually not seen outside of Bethesda or Bioware. I’m fairly sure that this is going to get lost in...
