Compare to its more power hungry brother W5500, seems like Sony came with better backlight system HCFL which saves energy by 50% without compromising a bit of excellent picture quality , even compare to W5500, WE5 overcome with black levels and view angle on which picture quality on W5500 gets bit unpleasant.... for WE5....bravo Sony....

New Bravia engine 3 provides crystal clear picture with rich colours, Noise reduction controls disturbance in volume and S-force surround sound with Voice completes Perfect Home cinema experience, Eco settings are brilliant-- precense censor turns pciture off when it couldn't sense anyone in room for withing allocated time, light sensor adjust brighness when watching in dark, PC connectivity couldn't be better, PS3 games couldn't look better....
